Following an overhaul in Japan, Honda's moderate offering CR-Z half breed hatchback gets a modest bunch of changes in the U.S. market. With upgraded styling and another EX-L with Navigation trim level, the progressions keep the 2016
Honda CR-Z new even as it keeps on being one of Honda's slowest-offering vehicles.
Changes to the 2016 Honda CR-Z, as on the Japanese variant, start with a reshaped nose highlight another grille, another front diffuser, and new side skirts, while the auto's inside scores new brushed-metallic trim pieces for the entryway handles, dashboard, and focus console. The restyled focus support now has a bigger stockpiling compartment, on account of a change to an electric stopping brake that authorizes space. Out back, search for a reshaped guard and another rooftop spoiler.
New standard hardware on every one of the 2016 Honda CR-Z models incorporates push-catch begin and Honda's 7-inch DisplayAudio touchscreen infotainment framework. The EX and higher trim levels include Honda's LaneWatch blind side camera, while the new EX-L with Navigation trim packs warmed calfskin seats and route. It replaces a year ago's EX with Navigation trim.
There are no progressions to the cross breed powertrain underhood. A 1.5-liter fuel motor and 15-kW electric engine cooperate to create 130 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. The framework returns 31/38 mpg (city/thruway) with the six-speed manual transmission and 36/39 mpg with the persistently variable transmission.
Evaluating for the 2016 Honda CR-Z rises somewhat in light of these corrections. The base model now begins at $21,130 (with destination) with manual transmission, or $21,780 with a CVT, increments of $165. The CR-Z EX is $22,975 with a manual and $23,625, and the CR-Z EX-L tops out at $25,275 or $25,925, contingent upon transmission.
